The book arrived well packaged and pretty fast, considering it was coming from out of the country. Plus, I received great service from the distributor.

In my review on the 1st edition (Dec 2005), “This book is more concentrated on diffusers than absorbers, with extensive care on Schroeder diffusers… To illustrate my point: you cannot find the term “anechoic chamber” in the index.”
But now, you can find the term here, and much more.
Also, I have noticed that after the 1st edition is published, many wooden and plastic Schroeder Diffusers from many manufacturers are suddenly available in the market: for audiophile, monitoring studio, pro-audio applications, etc. Obviously it is highly influenced by the book, as a solid theorotical background is now here. Before that, very few commercial available products; you may need to DIY, or chicken egg cartons if want one…
BTW, the great scientist Prof. Manfred Schroeder has passed away in Dec 2009. A big loss for all of us…
